Interior painting

Interior painting

Prior to painting any interior walls / ceilings we will make sure any holes / cracks are filled using a good quality filler and sanded down to ensure the surface is smooth.

There are 3 types of finish you can have for your interior walls: Matte which is a non-shiny finish, Silk which is a shiny finish and eggshell which is in between the two.

We always use special paints for the bathroom and kitchen which are mould guard formulated to resist steam and condensation meaning your walls will look fresher for longer.

Woodwork painting

Woodwork painting

When painting interior woodwork such as skirting boards and architraves you can choose between two finishes, either a gloss finish which is shiny or a satin finish which is a dull finish; both are durable and hard wearing.

To ensure that there are no cracks between the wood and the walls we will use a quality decorator’s caulk to finish.

Exterior painting

Exterior painting

Before doing any exterior painting we would check the condition of the walls. Any loose paint we will sand smooth and we will fill any cracks / holes using exterior filler. We will remove any mould by spraying with mould killer or bleach.

We will always use weatherproof paints for all exterior woodwork as this has a unique formula which will prevent flaking and colour fading for a longer time. It is recommend every 5 years to repaint your exterior window frames and doors, this ensures no damp settles in the woodwork and keeps your property looking fresh.

Wallpapering
